The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Estelle Russell can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: Heather Russell Botha
Condolence: Grandma,

I know you are in a great place now with grandpa. We have all gained a guardian angel this week. I will never forget on my 9th birthday you had surprised me and dressed as a private detective for my party. You always had a trick up your sleeve to gain a smile from me. I still have the poem that you wrote about me framed in my living room. I cherish our memories we have and look forward to the day we may meet again. Love your little Heather

Condolence From: Paul L Russell Jr
Condolence: I wish we could have spent more time together. I haven't seen you since Heathers high school graduation and I haven't spoken to you in at least a year. I see how close my wife is with her grandparents and it makes me wish I had that. I remember when you and grandpa came to visit us in Port St Lucie FL and I was telling Cathy to shut up. You looked at me and said "if you tell her to shut up again I am going to smack you."Lol I was terrified! Be nice and respectful was the message I took from that. And those are the lessons that grandma's are put on earth to teach their grand children. Rest peacefully grandma. Love you always

Condolence From: David Lund
Condolence: Sad news about Skip. I have so many memories of her. Going to her house in the afternoon to watch Mickey Mouse Club (Skip and Russ had a TV before Bette and Jim) and also to get chicken pox from Cathy and Paul so we'd have it and be done with it. Going to Cape Cod in 1966 with the Russell family and Skip showing me how to pull the gooey ketchup bottle through someone's hand as you passed it to them (her brother Jimmy was NOT happy that she taught me that!). The cheesecake bakeoff. And the way the phone would ring, and mom would pick it up and if it was Skip on the line, mom would let out with a joyful "SKIPPY!" I'll miss her.

Condolence From: Joe & Meg Ross
Condolence: We were so very sorry to learn of Aunt Skip's passing. I have so many memories of the time that we spent together while we were growing up, and the fun that we had with the family. All of my memories of Aunt Skip are very happy ones, whether it was in Hopewell, out at the farm, or on Cape Cod. It was so good to be able to see her one more time at Mama's funeral. I wish that I were closer so that I could hug you all, but you are all in my heart and my prayers. Love you - Meg
