The First Time I Met Greg Quinn

The first time I met Greg was at a Carmel Foreign Language Dept. party held at John Morrison’s beautiful home in Red Hook. Ann had been my maternity leave replacement back in 1985 and we became instant friends. In fact, I convinced her to take a part-time opening the following year because it would be perfect since “Joey” was starting kindergarten! Well, back to the party. I am enjoying the view of the Hudson River and my cocktail from a comfortable hammock in John’s backyard. Along comes this TALL, good-looking guy who I never met before and he overturns my hammock! I liked him immediately!!!! It turns out that Bob and Greg were like “brothers from another mother” and the Forman’s & Quinn’s went on to enjoy many cocktails and occasions over the years. I will miss you, Greg, for the rest of my life. I promise to continue to be the best friend I can to Ann (and the boys) and put a smile back on her face. Until we can swing in the hammocks with cocktails again, Love, Linda
